Jump out of bed and onto the slopes! Our Almdorf Waldesruh and our guesthouse Waldesruh are located directly in the ski area of Sölden (Slopes 8 & 10). This means you can start your day of skiing without long wait times. The toboggan run from Gaislach passes right above us, and the toboggan run starting at Stiegele is just a stone's throw away from our Almdorf and guesthouse. You'll also find guaranteed fun on our very own curling rink – nothing stands in the way of your perfect holiday.

Sölden - A Paradise for Skiers and Snowboarders

Sölden is not only a World Cup venue but also one of the most renowned ski and snowboard centers in the Alps. The extensive range of slopes suitable for all skill levels spans from the easy terrain in the beginner area of Innerwald and Giggijoch, through a variety of blue and red slopes across the entire ski area, to the more challenging runs on the ski mountain Gaislachkogl.

The impeccable grooming of the 146 kilometers of slopes and the 33 mostly modern lift facilities ensure fast and comfortable transportation without waiting times. The absolute snow reliability from November to May guarantees a unique skiing experience. As a special highlight, Sölden offers the BIG3, making it the only ski area in Austria with three peaks over 3,000 meters, all accessible via modern cable cars. Once at the top, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views of the Ötztal mountain range.
